SSVs
The 812cc in-line three cylinder engine features massive torque for hauling and towing heavy loads across rugged terrain. Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) keeps the engine it it’s power and torque sweet spots, and also contributes to smooth, consistent engine braking that helps to maintain reduced vehicle speed during descents.
If cargo capacity is your greatest priority, then the MULE PRO-FX is your partner of choice. The massive cargo bed with it’s 453kg capacity easily fits a standard wooden pallet, allowing you to transport more with each load. The steel cargo bed is built with durability in mind, and the KQR bed rails accomodate quick release-accessories along with plenty of tiedown points to secure your load.
A 30 litre fuel tank offers the range to enable long forays with family and friends. Enough fuel to travel well into the bush to find that perfect camping spot and to get back out again.
Front and rear disc brakes ensure strong, sure stopping power. The hydraulic disc system offers predictable performance, delivering brake power that matches input at the brake pedal. Front Discs are 212mm and gripped by two-piston (27mm) calipers. Rear Discs are 212mm with single 34mm piston caliper. Semi-metallic brake pads offer the right balance between braking power and long life.
Ladder-type construction of the welded main frame optimises flex, rigidity and strength while intelligent design features help protect vital components.
The Electric Power Steering provides both steering assistance and damping when needed. At slow speeds or when stationary, the EPS system provides maximum assistance to the driver. When travelling at speed, the EPS system reduces it’s input, both to reduce inadvertent steering inputs from the driver, and also to reduce the amount of bump steer from rough terrain.
Electrically selectable 2WD / 4WD and dual-mode rear differential system to allow easy changing between drive systems to suit changing terrain and applications.
Flipping the switches causes the systems to engage instantly, ensuring the rider has full control of when 4WD or the rear differential lock is activated.
Dual-mode rear differential provides maximum traction when in locked mode and minimises ground clearance when unlocked.
An all-steel black front bumper provides protection for the bodywork of the Mule Pro-FX. Integrated steel inner wheel well guards help to protect the occupants from objects being speared into the cabin from the tyres. Factory fitted half doors also help to protect occupants from injury in the event of an accident.
The cabin features a padded bench seat that fits three adults comfortably with generous shoulder and leg room. Automotive-style seatbelts enhance safety, and are comfortable and easy to use. 45-litre storage bin located under the seat offers ample room for your belongings. The automotive style dashboard inlcudes switces for the headlights, selectable 4wd and rear differential lock.
