The KLX300 is a highly versatile lightweight dual-sport motorcycle that keeps going when the road ends. Delivering quick-revving power and versatile performance, this highly capable bike is ready to take the adventure to paved streets, backroads, trails, and beyond. Wherever you ride, the fun is endless on the KLX300.
With enduro racer-derived performance, the fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine delivers a rewarding spread of power across the rev range. Complementing its strong, rider-friendly low-mid range, it offers crisp response with every twist of the throttle thanks to cam profiles sourced from Kawasaki’s KLX300R play bike.
A factory-fitted thermo fan keeps the engine tempurates down in slow trails and traffic alike. Kawasaki’s innovative radiator fan cover guides hot air down and away from the rider, contributing to rider comfort.
An adjustable ø43 mm inverted cartridge-style front fork works with Uni Trak rear suspension equipped with adjustable damping and preload to deliver agile handling for exciting on- and off-road riding.
The box- and tubular-section high-tensile steel perimeter frame creates a slim, lightweight package. The lightweight, highly rigid aluminium D-section swingarm contributes to low un-sprung weight.
A relaxed, upright riding position is complemented by a thick urethane seat for comfort on longer rides, while a comfortable reach to the ground adds to rider confidence. The new shroud design allows smoother transitions when shifting position, enabling riders to feel more at one with their machine when cornering.
Strong disc brakes add even more confidence and control, with a twin-piston caliper gripping a semi-floating ø270 mm petal disc in the front and a single piston caliper slowing a ø240 mm petal disc in the rear.
The dual purpose KLX300 is fitted with a 21” front wheel and 18” rear, wrapped in Dunlop D605 Dual-Sport tyres, enabling great off-road potential.
A strategic use of black and coloured parts creates a coloured line that flows front head to tail through the middle of the bike, similar to Kawasaki’s KX motocross machines. Compact LED headlight in a slim, sharp new front cowl offers remarkable brightness and a thin design reminiscent of a full-fledged enduro bike.
All-digital instrumentation includes digital speedometer, bar-type tachometer, clock, odometer, dual trip meters, and a range of warning/indicator lamps.
