Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-Line Four engine offers silky smooth power delivery with extremely linear, lag-free response that benefits both acceleration control and ride comfort. High power* (68.6 kW / 93 PS) and high torque* (89 Nm) accommodate a wide range of work and recreation applications, while the pleasant sound of the highly distinct exhaust note is quiet enough for drivers and passengers to converse in the cabin.
A choice of Work, Normal, and Sport modes allows drivers to set power delivery to suit preference and conditions. The milder throttle response offered by Work mode contributes to superb low-speed control when carrying a load and facilitates maintaining a constant low speed using minimal throttle even when driving on an uneven surface. In Sport mode, the sharper, more linear throttle response suits sportier driving. Normal mode offers a balance between the two, offering smooth engine response from the time the throttle is opened.
Electrically selectable 4WD and rear differential lock allow drivers to quickly and easily switch between drive systems to suit changing terrain and applications while on the go. Locking the rear differential causes the rear wheels to act as a single axle, ensuring maximum traction when riding in muddy or snowy conditions.
Double-wishbone suspension is used both front and rear to enable each of the wheels to navigate obstacles with minimum effect on the chassis. Long wheel travel (F: 323 mm; R: 322 mm) contributes to both ground clearance and ride comfort. Shock units with dual-rate springs and carefully tuned suspension settings offer superb ground-following performance and a balance of comfort and damping that helps deliver a composed ride and minimises roll speed.

At 880 mm long and with a 453 kg (1,000 lbs) cargo bed capacity, the RIDGE’s flat cargo bed has plenty of room to carry work equipment or recreation gear. The tailgate can be removed without tools.
The RIDGE’s roomy cabin offers the shoulder and legroom for three people to comfortably sit side-by-side. The bench seat features contoured seating for the driver and right-side passenger.
