The famous 645cm3 V-Twin powerplant has undergone an update, installing new technology such as the resin-coated pistons, and revising over 60 engine components to achieve a higher output in a broad area of the rev-range, while keeping the unique V-Twin character with low fuel consumption.
With low fuel consumption combined with the large 20L fuel tank, the riding range between fill-ups are at the top in this class, relieving the rider from the stress of frequent refuelling.
The 20L fuel tank is also slimmer and is able to accommodate magnetically attachable tank bags. The frame and seat areas have been slimmed down on the sides allowing the rider to reach straight down with their legs covers, providing more confidence and stability.
The Traction Control system can be switched to either of two modes intervention or turn off completely.
The seat lives up to the reputation of the V-Strom comfort. While securing a wide flat area to support the rider when riding, the front of the seat is slim enabling the rider to easily reach the ground when stopping.
A Remote Pre-Load adjuster can be operated by hand with out tools, allows the rider to quickly set up the suspension to match the riding style or in case of Two-Up Riding or with a full load of luggage.
The V-Strom 650XT features tubeless tyre applicable wire-spoked wheels which absorb shock from the road due to the flexible character of the spoke.
A 12V DC outlet positioned directly below the instruments as standard equipment, along with an a new designed windscreen with a 9mm extension to reduce the windblast and buffering to the rider’s body.
