Mid-size Kawasaki MULE PRO-MX side x sides offer a comfortable fit for two passengers with the muscle to cover more ground in less time, and the versatility and capability to have some fun when the work is done.
The powerful 695cc engine delivers class-leading torque, making the Mule Pro-MX fun to drive with strong low- to mid-range acceleration and high speed efficiency. The belt-driven CVT with a centrifugal clutch delivers smooth acceleration, instant throttle response, and dependable engine braking.
The mid-sized Mule Pro-MX slots into the Kawasaki Mule lineup perfectly between the smaller Mule SX and SX XC, and the larger 3-seater Pro-series Mules. That smaller footprint does bring benefits, with a tight 4.2m turning radius and lighter weight.
Plush contoured bench seat with anti-cinch, three-point seatbelts keep riders comfortably and securely fastened even in rough terrain.
A multi-function display is built into the dash. Features include: driving mode (2WD/4WD) indicator, digital speedometer, digital fuel gauge, clock, odometer, dual trip meters, hour meter, differential indicator lamp, engine check lamp, EPS warning lamp, water temperature warning lamp, seatbelt warning lamp, parking indicator lamp, reverse indicator lamp and neutral indicator lamp.
Kawasaki’s high-grade electric power steering (EPS) system is speed sensitive, offering light steering at low speed, while reducing assistance as vehicle speed increases to tighten up the steering. It also enhances ride comfort and control by acting as damping system, reducing bump steer and kickback to the steering wheel caused by shocks to the wheels.
With 9.1 litres of storage space under the front hood, 5.3 litres of under-seat storage, a lockable glovebox and numerous pockets in the dashboard, the PRO-MX offers ample storage for small items.
A steel based cargo bed provides a durable platform for any and all cargo you can throw into the back. With gas-assisted tilt, it is equipped with integrated features live divider slots, six tie-down hooks, and bed rails for quick and easy installation of KQR accessory mounts, and for tieing down loose cargo into the bed.
Air intakes for the engine and CVT are positioned high under the hood to keep the engine and CVT internals free of dust, moisture, and foliage. The air filter, battery and electrical fuses and relays, along with the oil dipstick are located underneath the bench seat in the cabin, allowing for checks to be completed even with a load in the tray.
The MULE PRO-MX is equipped with 25” tyres on 12” rims. The large 25” radial tyres provide great off-road traction, ensure ample ground clearance and complement the rugged styling.
The Mule Pro-MX Special Edition includes cast aluminium rims and a 1,361kg roller fairlead winch, along with premium special edition colour and graphics to set it apart from the standard Pro-MX.
Electrically selectable 2WD/4WD and dual-mode rear differential system allow easy changing between drive systems to suit changing terrain and applications. Flipping the switches causes the systems to be engaged instantly, ensuring the rider has full control of when 4WD or the rear differential lock is activated. Dual-mode rear differential provides maximum traction when in locked mode and minimises ground disturbance when unlocked.
Like the MULE PRO Series flagship models, the PRO-MX comes standard with doors, offering a level of mud protection while facilitating getting in and out of the vehicle.
